Meet the Doctor
Sarah de Sanz, D.D.S. received her dental degree from from the University of California, San Francisco in 1993. Following a General Practice Residency at the Veteran's Affairs Medical Center in San Francisco she returned to UCSF where she completed a Fellowship in Oral Medicine and post-graduate training in Periodontology in 1998. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. de Sanz's specialty practice focuses on periodontics including LANAP laser surgery, dental implant surgery and oral medicine delivered in a caring environment where patient comfort and safety is foremost in importance. In addition, she is uniquely skilled in the management of geriatric and medically compromised patients, equipped to provide treatment in both an office or hospital setting. In the interest of patient comfort, she offers intravenous sedation during surgery.
Dr. de Sanz is a member of the American Association of Periodontology, California Society of Periodontists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Francisco Dental Society, the American Academy of Oral Medicine, and the Academy of Osseointegration.
Dr. de Sanz lives in Sonoma with her husband Greg, and Welsh Terrier, Denbigh.
